What we collect
Climbing Kitties has no accounts, no logins and no newsletter sign-up. We do not ask you for personal information, and there are no forms on this site that submit data to us.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs, which include IP address, browser user agent, referring page and the time of the request. These are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained for a limited period by the host.
Analytics
If aggregate traffic analytics are in use, they are configured to record page views and referrers without tracking individuals across other websites. No advertising profile is built from your visit.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. If you follow an affiliate link, the destination retailer may set cookies on their own domain under their own policy, which you can review on that retailer's site.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy. The price you pay is unaffected. Commission does not influence which products or approaches are recommended, and no brand pays for coverage.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent or share visitor data. Pages here contain no embedded social widgets, no third-party fonts and no external scripts, so your visit is not reported to any other company by this site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you may request access to, or deletion of, any personal data we hold about you. In practice we hold none beyond host request logs. Requests go to hello@climbingkitties.com.
Changes
Any material change to this policy will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
